what’s up insiders? pokemon insider herewith a bit of a sad theory for a lot of pokemon fans. gen 4 remakes aren’t going to happenfor a long time. stick around for more information. before i get any further in this video, iwould like to say that this is just a theory, and we really don’t know what pokemon isgoing to do. but! i have significant evidence that would suggest that generation 4 remakesare either not going to happen at all or be
Best Pokemon Game For Gba, a very long time. so without further ado, let’s get into the first bit of evidence. patterns. something pokemon has been a littlechallenged with throughout the years, but that is likely because they don’t want theirreleases to be predictable. this is confirmed by an interview with junichi masuda in whichhe says he doesn’t want each new pokemon
game to be “too boring and predictableâ€.now, this also doesn’t mean that they will jump right into gen 4 remakes but based onpokemon’s track record, it’s not likely at all.let’s look at some facts. pokemon red and green were released in japan in 1996, withtheir remakes coming in 2004. pokemon released gold and silver in 1999, and heart gold andsoul silver came out in 2009 in japan. now, here is the kicker, pokemon ruby and sapphirecame out in japan in the year 2002, and omega ruby and alpha sapphire came out in 2014.did you pick up the pattern? the first remake was released 8 years afterthe original, the second 10 years after, and the third 12 years later. pokemon may nothave intentionally made this pattern, but
it makes the next logical remake come out14 years after the original. since japan released diamond and pearl in 2006, it would put gen4 remakes in the year 2020. also, each remake was created on a handheldsystem two generations above the original system the games were played on (i.e. gameboyto advance, gbc to ds, and advance to 3ds). this pattern has stayed consistent throughoutpokemon despite their lack of patterns in other areas. this pattern would make the nextlogical remake to come out at some point after the next handheld system comes out, whichhas no date in sight. next, a glaring hole in the possibility ofgeneration 4 remakes is the fact that you can still play diamond, pearl, and platinumon the 3ds through the magical use of backwards
compatibility. yeah, that’s a great thing.when comparing this to previous remakes, backwards compatibility was the reason for the remake, but if you have the most recent system, you can still play diamond and pearl.now these points both support the theory that diamond and pearl remakes will not be comingout for a long time, but there is also evidence that supports the theory that they will nothappen at all. if we take a look back to the time between heart gold and soul silver andomega ruby and alpha sapphire, the hype was extremely high for gen 3 remakes, and therewas definitely a case for the hype. however, i don’t really see that for gen 4.of course, the hype is there, but there isn’t really anything that indicates their possibility.all throughout the pokemon games, even in
4th generation games, there were dozens, ifnot hundreds, of direct hints toward ruby and sapphire remakes, something of which wehave not seen about diamond and pearl. thanks to ovi, i have found that the closet we haveare a couple of paintings from omega ruby and alpha sapphire with legendary sinnoh pokemon, not even the mascot legends. if, and this is a big if, more hints startpopping up in future pokemon games, i won’t be very skeptical of diamond and pearl remakes, but for the time being, i have very high doubt of their validity. also, feel free to disagreewith me, because this is just a theory. thanks so much for watching this video. ifyou enjoyed, be sure to leave a like and share the video with a friend. if you want to stayup to date on when i upload new videos, be
